TERM2 NEWS FROM OGWEN Ben Smith went to the Welsh school Gym Finals in Cardiff (Welsh Institute of sport) on the 29th of February. He came 11th out of a total of 26 boys in his age group. Bens team (Eryri) came 3rd out of 5 counties in the whole of Wales. Eryris under 19s all got gold medals for coming 1st. No other from Eryri got a medal. Well done Ben!! Ogwen Year 6 had a chance to have 3 lessons and a proficiency test. They have done U-Turns, left and right turns, signalling, control and emergency stops. We really enjoyed the lessons. TERM 1 NEWS FROM OGWEN We have been doing very interesting work in class this term. One of them is history. We have been studying about WW2 and we have worked on rationing ,Dig for Victory, evacuation and the Wardens. We have also done work in English. We have been studying the book ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’ and we have only just finished it. In science, we have been doing tests and investigations about materials. In RE, we have been learning all about Judaism and we have been working on PSE. Do you know how to do ‘turtle’? Thank you for reading
