TERM 2 NEWS PERIS

We have improved our class by putting up more displays and getting new curtains for the yellow table. 

 We have started working on our PowerPoint Presentations.  We are allowed to choose our own project. 

We have completed lots of work on the Holy Week.  We have written newspaper reports and stories on the different events of that week.  We also had an altar that displayed religious artefacts that went with our Easter theme. 

We have started “Helpiwr Heddiw” and nearly all the class have been a “helpwr” for the day.  We now have to do the register for Mrs Hardwidge every day.  We have also been asking children questions in Welsh.  We really enjoy doing ‘Helpwr Heddiw’ 

TERM 1 NEWS

This term we have been studying work about prefixes, suffixes, facts and opinions. We have been learning about full stops and capital letters. As you can see we have had a very busy term. 

We have have entered lots of competitions such as ‘Plas y Llan’ and ‘Cwmni Penllan’. We have had to design a new Christmas decoration and one boy from the school has to switch on the ’Christmas Lights’. 

In November, ‘Key strings’ visited the school to show us about ‘stringed instruments’. The presenters were very funny and we had a great time. 

We have worked hard in all our subjects and we really enjoyed learning about the ‘Tudors’. We went on an educational visit to ‘Plas Mawr ‘ in Conwy. 

In RE we have been studying about Islam. We have learnt many important facts about the religion. 

In ’Geography’ we have been studying about ’Holidays in Wales’. We have learnt about travelling in the country and how people use their locality.
